Its attractive deep green foliage and compact lines make it obvious why 'Montana' is so popular with both growers and consumers. Although this cultivar grows 30 % more slowly than our common Boston varieties, its growth habit is very uniform. In addition it is a strong plant that will look good indoors all year round. It will stay green and retain its foliage with normal care. This variety has another advantage for the grower: it has just a few rhizomes at its base, making it one of the easiest to prepare for sale.
Your fern requires moderate watering, keep them moist but definitely not soggy. The Nephrolepis loves humidity, placing it in your bathroom will help your plant thrive.
