Place your golden cane palm in a well lit position where it will get plenty of bright natural light. It looks great beside your entertainment unit or next to a sofa or in front of a window. These are versatile décor pieces, just avoid placing in very dark spots.

Frequency of watering (how often to water)

Golden cane palms like bright light and the more light you give the plant the more often you need to water them. Once the top few inches of potting mix is dry then you can water your palm again. As a guide though this works out to be every 5-7 days during the warm seasons. In Winter, you can decrease watering to once every 7-10 days.

Watering method (how to water)

Lift your nursery pot plant out of its decorative planter and take it either outside or to your bathroom. Give your plant a drenching of water until the water drains completely out of the bottom drainage holes of the nursery pot. Once done, place the nursery pot plant back to its original spot inside the decorative planter.
